I am a strategist and matchmaker for independent business owners, designers and developers, guiding them through the intricacies of small-batch manufacturing and boutique retail. I am also the founder of Makeshift Society, San Francisco's first coworking space/clubhouse for creative freelancers, and have recently joined Anthology Magazine as Market Editor.
I am deeply involved in many different communities - maker, designer, entrepreneur - in an attempt to encourage mentorship, resource sharing, and meaningful collisions that lead to new collaborative projects.

Previously, I owned and operated Rare Device, a design-led store and art gallery with locations in Brooklyn and San Francisco. I have also been a jewelry designer, a wedding stationer, a web designer and a content management consultant. My first job out of school was at the company that invented the 3D page curl.
I currently live and work in San Francisco, but I'm a Sacramento girl at heart, which means I harbor a deep, sincere fascination with muscle cars, independent donut shops, and fireworks.
