2D/3D Hex Mirrors, 2025

Optical illusions reflect and distort reality to bring the unexpected into view. The work obfuscates and encourages in-person sensorial engagement; it uses triaxial weaving to combine strips of mirror Mylar with hand-marbled Japanese paper into funhouse mirrors with shifting views and no way to “properly” photograph them — calling into question the meaning and value of propriety itself.
