Installations  The Library of Portable Magic, 2023

Large vintage trunk found on the sidewalk and repurposed into a portable library with adjustable shelving. I brought this to an event and besides filling it with books, I created hidden compartments within books, lined with hand-marbled paper and mirrors, miniature copies of Naked Lunch and The Metamorphosis for a plastic cockroach snowglobe, plus paper flowers made from old paperbacks. The library can be packed with different contents and taken to other events.
