Selected Work Paper Weaving, 2024-2025

As part of my practice-led research into everyday surveillance and contemporary image making, I used weaving techniques to obscure surveillance imagery from Your Package Has Been Delivered. I layered and printed the digital photos, then wove them with handmade marbled paper, vellum, one-way Mylar film, and vinyl privacy film. I took inspiration from convex safety mirrors and marbling applied to banknotes, ledgers, and financial documents in the 18th century. Both are analog technologies used as security measures against fraud and theft.
