2D/3D Your Package Has Been Delivered, 2021 - 2025

As part of my practice-led research into everyday surveillance and contemporary image making, I used several processes to obscure photographs of deliveries by Target, Amazon, and DoorDash that I began collecting in 2021. While they are throwaway snapshots, meant to be consumed and deleted, saving and displaying them is a transformative act that makes visible an elusive archive and exposes how surveillance capitalism pervades modern life.

I layered and printed the digital photos, then wove them with handmade marbled paper, vellum, one-way Mylar film, and vinyl privacy film. I took inspiration from convex safety mirrors and marbling applied to banknotes, ledgers, and financial documents in the 18th century. All are analog technologies used as security measures against fraud and theft.
